Start with your decision

Is a two-for-one trade actually an upgrade?
Work through usable starts, schedule overlaps, required drops and replacement value. Includes a complete illustrative calculation.
How BenchWise chooses tonight’s picks
Follow the candidate filters and ranking formulas. Learn why a strong historical shot record is different from a profitable betting price.
Models, data and evidence
See how consensus projections, fairness weights, starting goalies, source freshness and result grading work in the current implementation.

Put the research to work

Open the daily NHL slate for matchups and starter reports, the Trade Analyzer to compare players, or Tonight’s Picks to inspect selections and their evidence. The lineup demo uses fictional sample data; it is a practice environment, not a current contest player pool.

What these guides cover

These are explanations of BenchWise’s current tools, with examples written for this site. They are not daily player recommendations. Live reports carry their own source timestamps; this library’s update date describes the guide, not the freshness of a player feed.
